A mother in Oregon shared an alarming video of her young girl who was striving to stand because she was unconsciously hit by a tick, and the images became viral on Facebook. Amanda Lewis, who lives in eastern Oregon with her husband, Lantz, their daughter. Evelyn and a young son, said Evelyn was struggling to stand at the beginning of this week and had acted strangely.
"She did not want to get up after her bath to get into her pajamas," Lewis posted on May 13. "I helped her and put her to bed. She was a bit ugly last night and I ended up sleeping in her bed with her all night."
"This morning she had difficulty standing, she could hardly walk or crawl, and could hardly use her arms," said Lewis.

The concerned mother wrote that, due to the story of her husband with undisclosed cancer, they sent a video of Evelyn who was struggling before taking her to the d & # 39; emergency.
"The doctor talked to us for a minute and said over the past 15 years that he had seen about 7 or 8 children his age with identical symptoms and more than likely that she had A tick, "Lewis said.
Doctors finally found a spot hidden in Evelyn's hair and diagnosed her with a tick paralysis, which she has since recovered. Lewis said that she hopes that by sharing the video, other parents know what to look for if their child or pet starts acting strangely without any obvious cause.

"My husband and I are still in a state of shock that this has happened to our little girl and I am glad that we can educate ourselves about it," wrote Lewis in an update of the message. "This is not terribly common but it is good to know that if your children or your pets are starting to have a weakness in their limbs to look for a coche! The doctor told us that the type of tick that was found on it usually does not have lyme disease (dog), but we are watching it anyway. "
