 The breast milk compound "can help cure cancer" according to Swedish scientists  

 The health benefits of breast milk are often attested. But the new discovery of the effects of a compound found in breast milk, nicknamed Hamlet, could mean a more effective and targeted way to kill cancerous tumor cells. 

 Swedish researchers from the University of Lund have found promising results when researching the effects of Hamlet substance on patients with bladder cancer. 

 In early trials with bladder cancer patients, those who were injected with the compound began to reverse dead tumor cells in their urine within a few days. 



 The breast milk compound targets cancer cells alone, offering an alternative to chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatments that damage healthy and cancerous cells in the body. 

 Immunology Professor Catharina Svanborg discovered the substance by accident during antibiotic research. 

 "To our surprise, when we added this milk compound, the tumor cells died. It was a totally amazing discovery," she said  The Daily Mail  . 

 Professor Svanborg explained that she was looking for new antimicrobial agents, whose new breast milk is a rich source. 

 In one of the team's experiments, human cells and bacteria, we demanded, leading to the practical choice of using human tumor cells. 



 Professor Svanborg added that breast milk contains alpha-lactalbumin protein which becomes a cancer control agent inside the stomach, leaving the cells healthy unharmed. 

 The compound avoids the external defenses of cancer cells and then targets the mitochondria and the cell nucleus. 

 By depriving the cell of energy from the source, the process of apoptosis works to reprogram the cell so that it weakens and dies. 

 "There's something magical about Hamlet's ability to target tumor cells and kill them," Professor Svanborg said. 

 Scientists suggest that the breast milk compound could also help patients with bowel cancer and cervical cancer. A trial of Hamlet's substance against a placebo is currently planned to test the promising benefits of this living compound.
