Natural forms of regulating your blood sugar

An amazing 50% of us is now either pre-diabetic or complete type 2 diabetes. No, this is not a typo; One of two of us has serious problems with blood sugar, which is a condition that was once a rarity quite commonplace. As I always said: just because something is common does not make it normal.

Our blood sugar problems are a modern phenomenon, born of the inadequacy between our DNA, unchanged for thousands of years, and the Sweet, Stressed and Toxic around us. The roller coaster of blood sugar that we know every day is anything but normal. Sugar in the blood, like your hormones, your immune system and your intestinal bacteria, is subject to the Goldilocks principle: not too high, not too weak, but just right.

Resistance to insulin is at the heart of blood sugar problems.

Most of the blood sugar problems we see today are due to one thing: resistance to insulin. The varying degrees of this hormonal imbalance wreak havoc on our health. Your body needs blood sugar (glucose) to get into your cells to create energy in the form of ATP. And the insulin hormone is needed to allow your cells to get glucose inside to create ATP. With insulin resistance, your cell receptor sites are blunted and blocked because of inflammation or toxins, and you are left with a supply of insulin and blood sugar, Which is not good. This not only makes you feel unhappy, but this can become diabetes, which is one of the leading causes of heart attacks and strokes!

There are signs that your blood sugar has gone bad.

1. Find your baseline.

  • C-peptide: Optimal range: 0.8 to 3.1 ng / mL
  • Sugar fasting in the blood: Optimal range: 75 to 90 mg
  • HDL: Optimal Range: 59 to 100 mg / dL
